Now that I have bored you with a little of my past, we can move on forward in time to the present. My main purpose for posting this blog is to document what is going on around me now.
My family moved into our house around 1995. I have always been interested in the paranormal and been able to sense things around me. For whatever reason, excitement over a new place to live or just not paying attention, I missed something! when we were looking at our house it seemed fine at the time. I don't recall any ill feelings or danger signs. It was just a nice old farm house that has been added on to and in fairly good condition.
From the time we got all the way moved in until now there has been things going on. Just little things here and there, but it is there. The first thing I remember that happened was being in the back room with my husband and hearing a terrible crash! I thought someone had pushed over a cabinet I had placed by my back door. I distinctly remember hearing the glass break and shatter on the floor. We looked at each other and I went to see what happened. This is one of the few times my husband has acknowledged that he heard something! Upon scanning the house, I found nothing out of place or broken! Go figure!
The most prevalent thing that happened was the light in the top room was always on. It is part of the attic that is finished into a small storage room. I was constantly getting fussed at to: "turn the light off", and "you forgot to turn the light off again!" I was hardly ever up there, but maybe once or twice I forgot to turn it off, but not all the time! Eventually the light stayed off when it was suppose to be off. Then other things started!
